When it rains, it pours

I'm not your knight in shining armour,
In a great white valiant ride.

I'm the devil's advocate,
On a fast black metal steed.

This ain't a perfect ticket,
It might bring you straight to hell.
The road looks uncertain,
And the guide looks just as lost.

A ride with me won't be easy,
There ain't no proper cover.
We might detour a little,
We might get a little wet.

Pins and needles in your hands,
Clouds and questions in your mind.
Perhaps we'll tear each other's hair out,
And be at each other's throat.

A heavy price to pay it may be,
A solution to problems it is not.
Complications it has brought,
Illumination it will be.

But what it is,
Is a road to lead you home,
'Cause this sepet is worth coming home to.
