Time flies

Time flies when you are not working.
Today is Tuesday, 9th September.

My first school holiday as a teacher ended,
As quickly as it started.
Just 6 weeks into my working life,
I had the chance to live it like it was.
Days ended at 5 in the morning or later,
Beginning way past noon or later.
Everyday I was blissfully rested,
With more than 10 hours of sleep.
In this short hiatus,
There was no work.
It was only me,
Doing the things I like,
Looking forward to some things,
Which never materialised.
Still,
It was a wonderful week.
In my wonderful life.
