Lessons learnt

A few lessons today;
Ain't it great that we learn something new everyday.

1) Never double book.
Things don't always go as plan. You never know what happens and things happen impromptu.

2) Never use a real person as a chip.
Using a third party is sometimes a good way to value-add. But never use a real person.
Make someone up. You never know when your friend will call and you get into deep shit.

3) Don't over-do it.
When value-adding, moderation is the key.
When told too often, jokes will be taken as truth.
You lose a friend because she now has to be avoided to prevent misunderstandings.

4) Words are double-edged
When saying something, avoid ambiguity at all cost.
Think carefully before saying.

That's all folks for today.
Lack of sleep equals can only remember so much

Stagnant

This blog has been stagnant for so long.
In a way it's good.
I usually gets inspired when I am down.

Things had been going pretty well.
Work's work and school's school.
Nothing spectacular.

But today is not a good day.
Woke up late.
Had been up all night studying
For the first French test of this semester
But it wasn't good.

Then said wrong things
Did wrong things
Hope things will clear in the next few days

Had a long chat with an old friend
Haven't seen her in more than half a year
So did some catching up.

Some things to do in the coming days,
Hope they get done.
